B-Metro Names 24 Physicians at Children’s as Top Docs

BIRMINGHAM (Dec. 20, 2013) – Twenty-four doctors who practice at Children’s of Alabama were recently recognized by b-Metro magazine and honored at a reception to celebrate the magazine’s Top Doctors issue. The reception was held on Nov. 7 at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse.

Best Doctors, Inc. maintains a database of more than 45,000 doctors worldwide with approximately five percent of practicing U.S. doctors included on its annual list. Physicians receive the honor exclusively through votes cast by doctors currently selected by Best Doctors, Inc. Many of the physicians listed below also hold academic appointments at UAB.

Children’s of Alabama has provided specialized medical care for ill and injured children since 1911, offering inpatient and outpatient services throughout central Alabama.
